What have we done?
We’ve done a few things, and more are on the way.
When Live Body Productions (the media composing practice I co-founded), wound down, I was already co-writing with my daughter Andraya during her undergrad studies. We’ve been composing together ever since and Soundscape is the result of our creative partnership.
Here is a selection of projects that one or both of us have worked on:
Sony ATV Publishing
This project involved the composition of over 50 musical cues for one of Sony’s music libraries
Live Performance: Path of The Lost – The Argus Quartet (https://www.argusquartet.com/) recently partnered with Andraya Annucci to perform her composition The Path of the Lost at Ramapo College’s Berrie Center.
Ten Angry Pitbulls – A Marketing and Design Company
Haiku Trailer – Composed a sound bed and provided sound design for the trailer promoting the release of Andrew Vachss’ novel Haiku.
The Family of Choice Webcast – Edited this three-hour event into almost 100 bite-sized individual video clips covering every question/discussion topic from the webcast. Composed music for the credits/bumpers at the start and end of each clip.
Liquid Comics (Formerly Virgin Comics) –
The Sadhu trailer – Musical score and sound design The plot of this book revolves around a British soldier by the name of James Jensen who discovers he is the reincarnated form of a powerful sage from the past.
7 Brothers – Mini site intro music and sound. This five-issue comic book limited series was published under the Director’s Cut imprint of Virgin Comics. The series was produced by John Woo, written by Garth Ennis and illustrated by Jeevan Kang.
Gamekeeper – Mini site intro music and sound. Guy Ritchie’s Gamekeeper was created by film director Guy Ritchie, and the first volume was written by Andy Diggle, with art and color by Mukesh Singh
The Dock Walloper Trailer – Musical score and sound design. The book tells the story of a crime lord’s rise to power during the 1920’s Prohibition era. It is the brainchild of film director Ed Burns and is co-penned by comics legend, Jimmy Palmiotti.
2B Media and Liga Inc.
Desert Island Music – Artists reveal in casual and candid conversation, the importance of music, their favorite musicians and personal experiences directly related to the music they listened to throughout their lives. Composed incidental music for three episodes featuring Jonathan Davis of Korn, Battlecat, and Photek on ARC -the A&R Channel.
Dolores Kohl Education Foundation
StoryBus – The StoryBus is a 37-foot Winnebago that’s been transformed into a children’s literacy museum on wheels. It transports a supplemental early literacy program that is helping to create a solid foundation for reading and future success for thousands of children in Chicago’s low-income communities. The StoryBus created a video series that helped to extend the reach of this very important children’s program. Composed 60 minutes of original score for this project.
Cinemacomics
Musical score for The Misadventures of Clark and Jefferson trailer. Misadventures is a Cowboys and Native Americans meet aliens tale that is packed with action, comedy and romance.
Luminous Processes
Composed the musical score for a flash-animated cycle of poetry by Thomas Wrobleski called Fountain of Ash.
