Soundscape is a father-daughter dream team
Anthony Annucci
is a musician, composer, sonic landscaper, producer, and certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who:
Custom-composes musical scores, songs, and sonic brands
Sculpts and designs sounds using organic and digital sound sources and processing tools
Manages the music and sound design branches of creative project teams
Licenses the practice’s existing music for use in media projects
Anthony amplifies the impact of onscreen content with his music and sound design. As a co-founder of Live Body Productions, he created audio content for companies like Sony, Virgin, Dark Horse Comics and numerous others that appeared in short films, cable television series, book and comic trailers, audio books, educational videos and music libraries. Building on that experience, he is continuing his musical journey with Soundscape.
The music and sounds Anthony creates are drawn from organic and synthetic sources. He mixes the two depending on the needs of the project. When composing and performing, he’s always looking for new tools, methods and inspirations to craft the right soundscape for client projects. In addition to playing a wide variety of instruments via MIDI controllers, he is an accomplished drummer with over 50 years of live and studio experience. So, he can play, program and record unique rhythms for any type of project.
Anthony’s network comprises a wide variety of disciplines – including film makers, authors, illustrators, animators, voice actors, painters, poets, marketers, graphic artists, web designers and app designers. The core of his work style is focused on being helpful, easy to work with, and solution-oriented. This approach has allowed him to build many mutually beneficial professional relationships over time.
His creative passions and interests include music of all types (whether he’s composing, performing, producing or listening), books, comics, film, television, console and app-based gaming, hiking, biking, kayaking, yoga, trains, martial arts, the natural world, history, science (especially paleontology) and technology. Anthony is always learning and exploring.
Who else is on the Soundscape team?
Andraya Annucci
recently completed an MFA – Masters of Creative Music Technology degree at Ramapo College of New Jersey and she is a staff composer at Soundscape. She is Anthony’s daughter, creative partner and Soundscape’s “secret weapon”. When Anthony and Andraya combine their approaches to composing, a synergy happens and the results are a kind of powerful magic. During her undergrad years, Andraya interned with Eventide Audio, where she tested software and assisted with music-making hardware and software demos and promotional product videos. Andraya’s composition “Path of the Lost” (see our Samples page to hear an excerpt) was recently performed live by The Argus Quartet, with guest violist Lauren Siess (please see the Allies section for more information about these fine musicians). Andraya is currently focused on Soundscape’s projects and development.
